(La phrase  " I'm looking for golden time, " chosen for the announcement of the death of Andre Breton is inscribed on his tomb in the cemetery of Batignolles, see here )

Rene (231/171cm) and Jeanne (225/189 cm)
these two large figurative paintings and hyper realistic at first glance become, seen close, bits of abstract painting, experimental.

Certainly, the artist uses the conventional method of glaze to the finish, but before the canvas was prepared by a "kitchen" personal :
ground, prior application of a layer of sand ; creates blemishes that will be accented randomly - " chopsticks, scrapers, brushes, rods, shoes" -everything is good to suggest the aging of the skin. These accidents will
-reworked the canvas to the wall by other tools: brushes brushes, air brushes ...
